Acknowledging a Volunteer for Resource Requests

To prevent brand new volunteers receiving resource requests as their first interaction with Safe Families; there is now an option to acknowledge volunteers as ready to receive resource requests.

Volunteers with other roles will automatically be approved upon completing any of the interactive elements of their approval process; Assessment, Training, Disclosure, Home Safety.

For Resource Exclusive volunteers or to manually acknowledge a volunteer as a resource friend, enter the volunteer record and select Preferences from the left-hand menu.

Each resource friend will have personal Resource Preference options.

Use the date picker to enter the date of approval

Press Update Preferences to save.

To update volunteer resources select Resource Needs from the left-side menu and select the resource they can provide by clicking on the item until it turns green and update resources.

The volunteer will now be available to start receiving resource requests.
