Completing Tasks

Automated tasks created by the database will auto-close once the appropriate action has been completed. 

Marking a task as done will stop the system reminding you about it.  It might be that you are not going to do the task as it is no longer appropriate in which case you can still mark it 'Done' but add a comment as appropriate.

Press Done next to a task.

Add a comment and press Mark Task as Done.  Sometimes the outcome might be self-explanatory based on the task, in which case you can just put a full stop in the comment box.

Completed tasks will no longer show in the outstanding task list  but will be visible as complete against the Family, Volunteer or Church record that it was created against.

Tasks set by another user will send an email to let them know that the task has been completed.
